Sales Invoicing
Create invoices and post them straight to MYOB — with several on the go at once, parked as tabs, until you are ready to send them.
What it does
- Several drafts at once. Press New and it opens as its own parked tab — not a dialog box. Work on five, post them independently.
- Item and service invoices. Item lines take a product, quantity and price; service lines take an account and an amount.
- The card fills itself in. Pick an item and its price, description and tax code arrive with it — and anything you have typed yourself always wins.
- Posting is what publishes it. Until you post, a draft is your own unfinished work, on your own machine. Posting sends it to MYOB, and from then on MYOB owns it.
- Blank lines are dropped, not rejected. Add three lines, fill one, post — it sends the one.
How it posts to MYOB
This screen holds no MYOB credentials and never calls MYOB itself. It hands the invoice to the Connector, which owns the connection — so your MYOB access stays in one place, and a licensed Connector is what makes posting possible at all.
Why it is called Sales Invoicing. It creates and posts invoices. It is not a till: there is no cash drawer, no card terminal and no barcode scanning, so calling it a point of sale would tell you it does things it does not.
Free with your Connector licence
Open the Connector's Settings and tick Sales Invoicing — it installs itself. It needs the Connector on the same machine anyway; that is where posting lives.
