Connector
Just ask
Your MYOB information sits in a database on your own machine, so you can point AI straight at it — and ask it anything, in ordinary English, as often as you like.
What it looks like
Each answer comes back in seconds, and the next question carries on from the last one.
It writes the document, not just the answer
Ask for a Word or Excel document and you get a real one — table, chart and written commentary, finished and ready to send.
Board and bank packs
Monthly figures written up, with the commentary already drafted.
Graphs, drawn for you
Five years of sales as a chart from one sentence — the thing everyone wants and few have the time to build.
Debtor chase lists
Who to ring, in order, with how long they have had it.
Anything one-off
The question you would never build a report for because you only need it once.
All the way down to the ledger
The sync brings across full documents — every invoice, every line, and every general ledger transaction behind them.
That is what lets a question keep going. A variance on the P&L can be followed to the accounts that moved, and from there to the individual transactions that made up the movement — in the same conversation, without opening anything.
Gross margin is down 2.1 points. Show me the ledger transactions behind it.
Why the answers are right
This matters more than it sounds, and it is where 25 years of working in MYOB data shows up.
The Connector ships a written dictionary of your data: what every field actually means, which one holds the balance owing, how the tables join. The AI reads that first, so it works from our definitions of your accounts rather than from a guess at what a column name might mean.
It is the difference between an answer that is plausible and an answer you can put in front of your bank.
Ask as much as you like
- Every question is included. As many as you like, as often as you like — the subscription is the whole of it.
- Instant follow-ups. “Now break that down by month” comes straight back, because it is reading the copy on your own machine.
- Your database stays put. The file is read from your own disk and DataWise never sees it. To answer a question, just the figures that question needs are sent to Claude, the same way as anything else you type into it. The feature is optional, and on when you choose to turn it on.
- Read-only. It answers questions; your MYOB file and your database stay exactly as they are.
It works through Claude Desktop on the same PC as the Connector, and a free Claude account is enough to start.
Things people ask on day one
- Who are my top 10 customers this quarter?
- Which invoices are more than 60 days overdue?
- Compare this year's sales to last year, by month.
- Has anyone who used to buy regularly stopped?
- What did I spend last quarter, and on what?
- What's my average invoice value, and how has it changed?
It answers from your own data, and says so plainly when a question needs something your sync does not hold.
